“My idea is that there is music in the air, music all around us, the world is full of it and you simply take as much as you require.” - Edward Elgar

Our name Ariosa, comes from the Italian word Arioso, also known as Air. It is a musical term that refers to a style that is lyrical and expressive (in between an aria and recitative.) We changed the word Arioso to ArioSA to give nod to our San Antonio community that we hope to serve by providing performances of beautiful works of classical music. We are a newly formed chamber group typically referred to as a piano trio, which highlights the instrumentation of the group of violin, cello and piano. We think some of the greatest music of the genre has been written for this combination and can't wait to share them with you. We hope that as we begin our launch in 2022 that we will have your support and that someday soon we will see you at our concerts!

Cheers!
